Ambulance Shooter Gets 11 Years

An Omaha woman convicted of shooting and wounding a paramedic in the back of an ambulance last June was sentenced to 11 years in prison Friday morning.

Justine Dubois will have to serve at least 9 1/2 years.

Dubois plead no contest to multiple charges after medics put her in an ambulance south of South 42nd and Center and she then started shooting.

One of the paramedics was grazed and she was shot in the leg.
