A team of residential and building inspectors from Omaha, Bellevue and Council Bluffs will volunteer in Pilger Monday to inspect homes and commercial buildings that were not in the direct path of the tornado but may have structural damage.

The team of eight includes 4 inspectors from the Omaha Planning Department, led by Jay Davis, Superintendent of the Building and Development Division.

The team will assist at the request of the Stanton County Emergency Manager and is expected to be in Pilger by 9 a.m.
