Omaha Man Sentenced For Wife's Murder

35-year-old Bobby Wallace was sentenced on Friday to 40 to 60 years in prison for the brutal killing of his wife last May.

Police say Wallace repeatedly stabbed 24-year-old Lavern Eubanks at the home they shared near 33rd and Pratt in front of their four children.

Prosecutors also said Wallace also attempted to stab one of the children, but none of them were injured.

Wallace was found guilty of second-degree murder, second-degree assault and use of the weapon to commit a felony.

Prosecutors say he will be eligible for parole after 20 to 30 years.
