An Omaha man has been booked for assault on an officer and related charges in last week's officer-involved shooting.

Dale Hickman, injured by police gunfire as officers responded to a disturbance on July 13th, faces charges for two counts of 1st degree assault, three counts of assault on an officer, terroristic threats, and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Police say Hickman stabbed two family members in their home. When police arrived on the scene they found Hickman armed with a knife. Six-year police veteran Angela Lydon shot Hickman in a confrontation that followed.
