Two Critically Injured In Omaha Crash

Omaha Police say two people were critically injured Tuesday morning when the car they were riding in struck a pole near 45th and Pinkney.

Officer Michael Pecha tells Newsradio 1110 KFAB the stolen car was speeding northbound on 45th around 8:00 a.m. when the driver lost control and slammed into the pole. 

The driver was found outside the car when police and paramedics arrived. The passenger was trapped inside the car.  Both were taken to the hospital and are now in serious condition.

Police believe the car was stolen early Tuesday morning.
