Waitress Convicted In Alcohol Case

Amanda Heiman was found guilty by a jury on Thursday afternoon for serving alcohol to an 18 year old prior to a deadly crash in west Omaha in 2012.

Jacob Dickmeyer was behind the wheel of a car that rolled near 208th and West Dodge two years ago.  Dickmeyer died and his friend was injured.

Dickmeyer and Colby Burke were at the Fire Barn Bar and Grill in Waterloo in December, 2012 when Heinman served them drinks.

Investigators said when Dickmeyer left the bar he got behind the wheel of Heiman's car and his blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

Authorities say the teens drank the equivalent of ten beers and eight shots of liquor.  She will be sentenced April 22
