Tomorrow (January 21st) is National "Use Your Gift Card Day," which is also known as "The Day You Walk Into an Outback Steakhouse and Think, 'Wow, It's Busy Tonight.'"

This "holiday" has been around for a few years now, and it's basically just a reminder to use the gift cards that you got over the holidays . . . before you toss them into a drawer and forget about them.

According to CreditCards.com, $21 BILLION worth of gift cards will go unspent this year . . . and 47% of American adults say they have at least one unused gift card, voucher, or store credit lying around.  And the average person was sitting on $175. But that was in August . . . the holiday season has just passed, so you might have a lot more than that.

So, here's what you do: Keep your gift cards with you, so you have them when you need them. Or if you don't need them, consider donating them to a good cause . . . or sell them for partial credit in CASH online.
