In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Eric Church called out Garth Brooks for lip syncing on the CMA Awards.
Both Church and Brooks were nominated for Entertainer of the Year, which Brooks ended up winning.
Church told the magazine, “So the winner of the biggest category of the night lip-synced in the biggest moment on the show? F*** that! And I didn’t like his excuse at all.”
Eric Church will release a new album on October 5th. What better way to get some publicity than to slam one of the biggest artists in the format?
