Man who learned to control his anger becomes Mindful Moment Instructor for

A 25-year-old from Baltimore learned how to control his “major anger” issues and now he’s passing on those skills to underserved youth as a Mindful Moment instructor.

Ramon Dwayne Brown Jr. explained how growing up in Baltimore comes with so much trauma and loss but thanks to mediation he’s found a “way to let things go.”Now he’s helping kids process their anger.

Instead of detention, the afterschool program teaches the children how to work out that energy through breathing exercises and yoga. “It’s really positive.” Ramon explained. Ultimately, it’s about helping others “believe in themselves” and not their circumstances.
