The U.S. Embassy in Australia has apologized for accidentally sending an invite for "cat pajama-jam party".
Actually, the apology was more to the people upset that the party isn't actually happening than it was to people who inadvertently received the e-mail.
The embassy's public affairs counselor wrote, “Sorry to disappoint those of you who were hoping to attend this ‘cat pajama-jam’ party, but such an event falls well outside our area of expertise."
