Willie Nelson & George Strait Perform New Duet for 1st Time

Willie Nelson and George Strait performed a new duet called “Sing One With Willie” during a star-studded concert being held in Nelson’s honor in Nashville over the weekend. Rolling Stone Country reports that the tongue-and-cheek track finds Strait lamenting over the fact that the has never been asked to duet with Nelson. It includes lines such as, “Now I’ve heard him with Merle, Waylon and Cash/Jones and Toby, that man is totally gracious/ I’m thinking ‘Damn, why not me?’/ We can even sing it on TV--just like him and ol’ Julio Iglesias.” The song will appear on Strait’s forthcoming album.
