JANSON & RUCKER DO "FAMILY TRADITION" AT THE OPRY

Chris Janson and Darius Rucker performed Hank Williams Jr's "Family Tradition" at the Grand Ole Opry back in August.

I'm not sure how the traditionally older crowd at the Opry took to Janson adjusting a line in the song to be ...

"Stop and think it over, try to put yourself in our unique position, if two Grand Ol Opry members get stoned and then sing all night long, you know that's a Tuesday night Opry tradition."

The line was followed by cheers. Those may have come from the balcony. However, they may have come from the older crowd with a few "family traditions" of their own.

Check out the video.

The ironic part of Janson singing the line is the fact that the singer has been sober since meeting his wife Kelly in a bar and marrying her in 2010.

Check out a brief version of his biography here:

His song and video "Holdin' Her" is all about that story.
