We're half way through the year. When it comes to baby names, some monikers are already emerging as the year's most popular and one seems to be royally inspired.
According to Nameberry’s half-year report, it seems folks are taking a cue from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with Archie the most popular baby boy name, while Isla seems to be the most popular for girls. That doesn’t mean a ton of babies have already been saddled with these names though, since the list is based on the number of views each name page receives on the Nameberry website.
The site also notes an increase in popularity of names with an “O,” like Milo, Olivia, Arlo and Elio, while Latin names, like Cassius and Silas, are also popular.
