On Easter Sunday, Ashley McBryde stood on stage at the Mother Church of Country Music and belted out "Amazing Grace".
Though the Ryman Auditorium was empty at the time, it still took McBryde 7 tries to get through the song without getting so choked up that she couldn't finish.
She still gets a little emotional in this version. But, she makes it to the end.
As she says on Facebook, "Some things just can’t be healed. Some losses can’t be reconciled and some wounds will never heal. Sometimes we don’t get closure the way we want to. All we can do is honor our predecessors and hope that we touch the hem of heaven sometime in our lives."
Just another reason I am a huge Ashley McBryde fan.
