Courteney Cox has signed-on to reprise her role of reporter Gale Weathers in the upcoming fifth installment of the Scream horror movie franchise, says the Hollywood Reporter.Cox will join her ex-husband David Arquette, who is reprising his role of Dewey Riley, which he played in the original and 3 sequels under the direction of the late Wes Craven. Production on the new movie is set to take place in Wilmington, North Carolina, and additional casting is reportedly underway. Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who directed the horror hit Ready or Not, will co-direct, and creator Kevin Williamson is on board as executive producer.
