BOYS TOWN MEMORIAL DAY RUN RETURNS

The 36th Annual Boys Town Memorial Day Run will be a virtual race for everyone, anywhere.

The Boys Town Memorial Day Run virtual race has something for everyone. It includes 2 distances. There will be a 1-mile walk/run and a 5-mile walk/run. You ca pick your course!

Since it is virtual, you can run or walk on your treadmill, a trail, or through your neighborhood. Run or walk at your convenience. You will simply track your own time.

The race is open Saturday, May 23rd through Monday, May 25th.

There are many perks for participants. You will get a race shirt mailed to you following the race. You also get a chance to compete with runners and walkers across the country. All participants also receive a finisher’s certificate.

Proceeds benefit Boys Town. COVID hasn’t stopped their work. The mission continues.

Boys Town has served children and families for more than 100 years. During this pandemic they have not, and cannot stop the care or services to those in need. This includes ensuring In-Home Family Consultants are available 24/7 to provide support for families in times of crisis, including making necessary in-person visits to assess the safety of children. Boys Town also provides virtual healthcare to patients who are ill or have chronic health conditions. Other services include keeping families connected to food, diapers, hygiene products that meet their daily needs; answering the increased number of calls to the Boys Town National Hotline® from families and teens in crisis.

You can help. You can be part something great this Memorial Day! When you run for Boys Town, you are helping more children and families get the care and services they need. Boys Town has nine locations across the country. Those locations include Nebraska, Iowa, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Rhode Island, Washington DC, and three locations in Florida.
