- TikTok is testing a job application tool allowing users to directly apply with video resumes.
- It's called "TikTok Résumés" that lets you apply for jobs directly on TikTok. Think LinkedIn but cooler made specifically for Gen Zers.
- This testing is going on now through July. Anyone in the U.S. can search their job listings and apply at TikTokResumes.com.
- Applicants need to create a video résumé and post it on TikTok.
- They encourage you to get creative and use filters and effects and "let your personality shine through" as much as possible.
- Don't make a boring video where you list your experience and skills. That won't help you stand out.
- Some of the companies accepting résumés on TikTok this month include Shopify, Target, Chipotle, NASCAR, Forever 21, and the Detroit Pistons.
- If you TikTok, some say you will have a competitive advantage.
