Instead of a typical meet & greet before shows, Zac Brown Band would hold an Eat & Greet.
Rusty Hamlin, Zac Brown Band's executive chef, would travel with the band. He would cook an amazing feast for the guests.
During the pre-show event, the band would serve the guests. Then, each member would grab a plate and a seat at one of the table to break bread with everyone.
It was always a great time.
During one of those Eat & Greet events, I tried the pocketknife coleslaw Rusty made. I am not a fan of coleslaw, but this was amazing.
Below is the recipe. But, here is a tip. Use Duke's mayonnaise. It gives it a little southern flavor that makes the recipe special.
