Carrie Underwood makes a cameo in the new fourth season of Netflix's Cobra Kai series. She turns up in episode nine, where she performs a song during the 51st annual All-Valley Karate Championship. The song is "The Moment of Truth" from the original Karate Kid soundtrack.
Carrie told People.com, "I grew up watching Daniel and Johnny, and I can't believe I actually get to be a small part of the legacy that is The Karate Kid. Once I discovered Cobra Kaia few years ago, it became one of my favorite shows! I had so much fun being on the set and singing such a classic song. I cannot wait to watch every new episode!"
Carrie kicked off the new year by posting a photo of herself dressed in an Eagle Fang Karate gi while holding a glass of champagne on Instagram. She wrote, "Tonight's plans involve champagne and @cobrakaiseries! I'm pretty sure @william_zabka stole this from wardrobe to give to me, but it's being put to good use! Cheers, everyone!"
Carrie resumes her Reflection residency in Las Vegas beginning in March.
