“Night Train to Nashville: Music City Rhythm & Blues, 1945-1970” is Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's latest online exhibition.
When you can't make a trip to Nashville, visiting an exhibit like this online is the next best thing.
According to the website, the museum was recently awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to create an online version of the award-winning 2004–2005 exhibition.
The news release stated the multimedia exhibit “explores the historical tale of Nashville's dynamic and pioneering R&B scene and its vital role in helping the city to become a world-renowned music center."
The exhibit features such amazing artists as Ray Charles, Arthur Alexander, Ruth Brown, Jimi Hendrix, Etta James, and Little Richard, and others.
