Omaha Performing Art's new live music venue, Steelhouse Omaha, will open May 12, 2023.
The venue is part of the planned expansion of Omaha Performing Arts' art and entertainment campus near the Holland Center at 1104 Dodge St.
The cost of the venue was $104.1 million dollars. Most of the construction was privately funded. Only $1.1 million of the funds came from the City of Omaha.
Steelhouse Omaha will hold audiences of 1,500 - 3,000.
Rock act The Killers will open the venue with a show on May 12th. Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 17th at 10a through Ticketmaster.
