Every country radio listener knows Walker Hayes' big hit "Fancy Like".
Well, he's not all Applebee's.
When he broke on the scene with that song, many people thought Walker was new to country music.
He actually moved to Nashville in 2005 and soon began writing songs. In 2010, Capitol Records released Walker's first single "Pants" to country radio.
Walker eventually lost his deal with Capitol, worked a few odd jobs, kept writing, and finally hit with "Fancy Like" in 2021.
