Booze Math Breakdown: How Many Cans Of Beer = One Bottle Of Wine

I know several people that are doing "Dry January" this month! But I also know several people that are trying to do Wine and Beer Math...(cause that just screams "party" ;) ) 

Some number-crunchers at TastingTable.com figured out how many beers are in a single bottle of wine – in terms of how much alcohol is in each. Drinking a normal 750-milliter bottle of wine is about the same as slamming 5.9 cans of "normal" beer. That means, drinking a bottle of wine is about the same as drinking a six-pack.

Things change a bit if you're drinking fancy beer. If you're kicking back with beer that logs in at 6.5% ABV, a bottle of wine gives you the same kick as 4.5 cans of your gourmet beer.
