Toyota announced it's recalling nearly 280,000 vehicles because of a transmission problem that can result in cars rolling forward while in neutral.

Some 2022 Toyota Tundra pickups
Lexus LX 600 SUVs
2023 and 2024 Toyota Sequoia SUVs
That's according to the Associated Press.
The issue involves certain parts of the transmission not immediately disengaging when a vehicle is shifted to neutral, which can result in engine power being transferred to wheels and a vehicle creeping forward at low speed when on a flat surface.
The problem leads “to an increased risk of a crash,” according to Toyota.
