Here are some of the most polite habits Midwesterners have:
- Apologize when you’ve done nothing wrong: 74% 🙏
- Wave to people you don’t know: 64% 👋
- Hold doors for strangers: 55% 🚪
- Bring a shared dish to a party: 73% 🍲
- Smile at strangers: 80% 😊
- Tip well: 59% 💸
- Help a neighbor with a chore: 45% 🛠️
- Give a stranger directions: 80% 🗺️
- Obey the speed limit: Only 40% 🚗
The survey also ranked cities based on politeness. Here are the results:
