ποΈβ¨ Dad Gives Teen Daughter Free Disneyland Ticket From 1985 & They Let Her In With It!! β¨ποΈ
Simi Valley, CA dad, Scott King, recently gave his 18-year-old daughter Sabrina a 39-year-old Disneyland ticket heβd won during the parkβs 30th anniversary celebration in August 1985. π King had received the golden ticket and an βI am a winnerβ badge as part of a promotion where every 30th guest won a prize. π Instead of using the ticket back in the 80s, he kept it in a scrapbook and forgot about it for decades. π
When Sabrina mentioned that she wanted to go to Disneyland with her boyfriend and complained about how expensive it had become πΈ, King remembered the old ticket. He found it in his garage, tucked away in the scrapbook. π Despite ticket prices having increased from $16.50 in 1985 to over $100 today, Disneyland confirmed the ticketβs validity and honored it. π’ποΈ
Sabrina, who hadnβt been to Disneyland since she was six, was super excited about visiting the park again. π It was only her second time ever going to Disneyland and was happening just two weeks before she goes off to college. π For King, the four-decade-old golden ticket brought back memories, and now itβs made a new priceless and magical memory for him and his daughter to share. πβ¨
