The National Retail Federation has just come out with their annual report on Halloween spending in the U.S. and this year, they expect consumers to drop over $11-billion, with 72% of them planning to celebrate and spend an average of $103.63 per person. An increasing number of shoppers are starting their Halloween purchases earlier this year, with nearly half shopping before October, a trend that has grown over the past decade. Young adults, particularly those aged 25-34, are leading this early shopping trend, with many who consider Halloween their favorite holiday and spend more on average. Halloween decorations have also seen substantial growth, with spending on dΓ©cor increasing by 42% from 2019 to 2024.
