A couple weeks ago, Sotheby’s put its first artwork created by a humanoid robot up for auction. The portrait created by the robot – named Ai-Da – was expected to sell for between $120,000 and $180,000. Well, that estimate was a bit low, because the artwork – titled “A.I. God” – ended up selling for nearly $1.1 million.
