So imagine this: you're chilling at home, waiting on your Little Caesars from Grubhub, and instead of your delivery guy, two police officers show up at your doorβwith your pizza. π
Thatβs exactly what happened in Tempe, Arizona, over the Fourth of July weekend. The Grubhub driver got arrested mid-route (yikes), but the Tempe Police werenβt about to let dinner go cold. They spotted the delivery info on the guyβs phone and decided to finish the job themselves. Talk about service! Watch the video below!
Bodycam footage shows the officers handing off the pizza with a smile. One of them even joked, βYour Grubhub guy got arrested, so we still delivered your pizza.β The other added, βIt still should be warm!β π
The customer? Totally surprised but super grateful. And honestly, same.
Later, the Tempe PD posted about it on social media with the caption: βThe order was Hot-N-Ready, and the suspect was Caught-N-Steady.β Gotta love a department with a sense of humor.
So next time your deliveryβs lateβ¦ maybe check if the cops are on their way. ππ
