The Earth Day Omaha Coalition announced today the stage lineup for its Earth Day Omaha event on April 21, 2018. Featured on this year’s stage is Joel Sartore, Nebraska native, National Geographic photographer and Fellow, and founder of theNational Geographic Photo Ark. Also included is Laura Burhenn, American singer-songwriter ofThe Mynabirds, and Mayor of Greensburg, Kansas Bob Dixson, who sustainably rebuiltGreensburg after an E5 tornado destroyed 95 percent of the community.
“The Earth Day Omaha Coalition is proud to offer a stage lineup that includes environmental advocacy and a variety of entertainment acts,” said Karri Martin, Earth Day Omaha Coalition board chair. “This year, our goal was to put together a lineup featuring guests that have a national presence with ties to Nebraska and the Midwest. We are proud of the homegrown talent we will be showcasing this year for our Earth Day Omaha event.”
