Brad Paisley's "Coat Of Many Carries"

At the end of last week’s CMA Awards, Brad Paisley donned a blazer filled with pictures of his co-host Carrie Underwood. So, where did he get such a unique blazer?

Well, it was designed by Jimbo Simmons, who calls it the “Coat of Many Carries,” and he tells CMT he made it because he’s a huge fan of the singer. “I love Carrie Underwood, and thought, ’Why don’t I put a jacket together with a collage of her pictures,” Simmons explains.

As for how it wound up on Brad, Simmons says he and Brad have a mutual friend, so he decided to reach out to him and see if he was game. “I know they’re always doing comedy on the CMA Awards, so I thought it would be funny if Brad wore this blazer and she wouldn’t anything know about it,” he said. “So when Brad was in concert in Lexington (Kentucky), my friend brought it to him. And said that Brad loved it. But he didn’t say much more."

Simmons adds, "Then a few weeks ago, he told me Brad was going to wear it on the show.”
