Emerson Weber, an 11-year-old girl from Sioux Falls, SD wrote a letter to her mailman to say thanks for taking her letters and cards each day. She was surprised to see what happened after he read her kind words!
Her mailman, Doug Emerson was moved by the kind gesture and showed the letter to his boss who shared it in a newsletter to the western region of the United States Post Office. Letter carriers from all over the U.S. flooded Emerson with their own "thank you" cards and notes for not being forgotten.
