A 5-year-old boy wanted to pitch in to help after hearing about a tragedy

A five-year-old Missouri boy wanted to pitch in to help after hearing about a tragedy. Cooper Wallweber found out about a triple shooting at a local Applebee’s, which left one dead and two injured, including 20-year-old volunteer firefighter Arlydia Bufford, and decided to set up a lemonade stand to raise money for her.

With some help from his older sister, Olivia, Cooper planned to sell lemonade for two hours, but demand was high and they kept serving for six. They had a drive-thru service to keep things moving and customers included police officers, two ambulances, and two fire trucks. At the end of the day, the siblings had raised $1,307 for Bufford and donations are still rolling in.
