The Full Story:
The Hallmark channel is known for their romantic flicks, but did you know they also have their own line of wines? And now they’re launching a wine club to go with it. Hallmark Channel Wine Club sends bottles four times a year to members and the wines are produced in partnership with Wines That Rock, which has made music-branded wines for everyone from Elvis to the Grateful Dead.
Members get to choose between three, six or 12-bottle shipments that arrive every season. The first selection ships this September. Autumn Dreams, is a special reserve pinot noir that has “notes of boysenberry pie and ripe cherries.” Next up is December’s Snow Kissed, a special reserve zinfandel “with notes of blackberries and delicious plums.”
Hallmark Channel Wine Club membership comes with perks, including bonus bottles, wine tastings with the winemakers, a free month of Hallmark Movies Now, Keepsake Ornaments and Hallmark Channel DVDs. But the best part may be that each bottle is “ready to be paired with Hallmark Channel movie-viewing suggestions.” Wines That Rock’s winemaker Andrew Nelson calls the wines “the perfect way to celebrate life’s special moments all year long.”
