Van-ping is cool … When the pandemic started and people got stir crazy in their homes, many turned to RVs and conversion vans as a way to get away -- but still be safe. And it seems the trend is here to stay – at least for the foreseeable future.
Andy Goodson, spokesman for Lexham Insurance, which commissioned the research: “Creating your dream campervan doesn’t have to be a pipe dream as these Brits have shown. Many people made the vans themselves – converting old school buses, delivery vans and work vans into amazing homes on wheels. Some liked it so much they even ditched their real homes for life on the road – especially in these times when you can work from anywhere.
