Halloween is only a few days away, and while there will always be people who like to get creative or inspired with their Halloween costumes, most people tend to have the same ideas when it comes to dressing up for the spooky holiday. So, what costumes will be the most popular this year?
- Well, Google Trends is out with their annual FrightGeist list of the most popular Halloween costumes this year.
- Topping the list this year is the tried-and-true Witch, followed by a Rabbit.
- Some pop culture references made the Top 10 including Spider-Man at four, Cruella de Vil at five and Harley Quinn at seven.

Many current pop culture hits are pretty popular this year though.
- The Top 100 includes “Squid Game” costumes at 23, a particularly popular search in Detroit, Michigan.
- Costumes inspired by the mobile game “Among Us” is the 16th most popular costume and is particularly popular in Jacksonville Florida.
- Fortnite costumes are at 44, while Pokémon costumes are at 50.
