🎟️✨ Dad Gives Teen Daughter Free Disneyland Ticket From 1985 & They Let Her In With It!! ✨🎟️
Simi Valley, CA dad, Scott King, recently gave his 18-year-old daughter Sabrina a 39-year-old Disneyland ticket he’d won during the park’s 30th anniversary celebration in August 1985. 🎉 King had received the golden ticket and an “I am a winner” badge as part of a promotion where every 30th guest won a prize. 🏆 Instead of using the ticket back in the 80s, he kept it in a scrapbook and forgot about it for decades. 📖
When Sabrina mentioned that she wanted to go to Disneyland with her boyfriend and complained about how expensive it had become 💸, King remembered the old ticket. He found it in his garage, tucked away in the scrapbook. 🏠 Despite ticket prices having increased from $16.50 in 1985 to over $100 today, Disneyland confirmed the ticket’s validity and honored it. 🎢🎟️
Sabrina, who hadn’t been to Disneyland since she was six, was super excited about visiting the park again. 🎠 It was only her second time ever going to Disneyland and was happening just two weeks before she goes off to college. 🎓 For King, the four-decade-old golden ticket brought back memories, and now it’s made a new priceless and magical memory for him and his daughter to share. 💖✨
