Ella Langley shared sneak peeks of a few unreleased tracks from her highly-anticipated sophomore album during an episode of This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von.
Langley, 26, allowed comedian Theo Von to select a few songs to preview on the new episode of the podcast, which made its debut on Tuesday (April 7). Nearing the end of the episode, listeners caught snippets of âLast Call For Usâ (written by Langley, Joybeth Taylor, Brett Tyler and Austin Goodloe), âBottom of Your Bootsâ (written by Langley, Will Bundy and Jon Nite), and âBrokenâ (written by Langley, Taylor, Goodloe and Laura Veltz).
The Alabama-born country star said she worked on Dandelion for about a year and a half, co-producing the record while working with the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, Miranda Lambert. Langley said on the podcast, âit was really cool. This whole record, Iâm so excited about it. Iâve never been more excited about music in my life. I think Iâve clicked in my artistry. âŚThis is as exact as I want it to be. We had a vision for it. I had a 100-and-something-song reference playlist of what I wanted sonically for this record.â
So far, Langley has released the title track (the first track she wrote for the album), âBe Her,â âLoving Life Again,â and her history-making single, âChoosinâ Texas,â from the upcoming album:
