Bobby Gives Away Three "Don't Be Skipping Class" Scholarships

Back in 2015, Bobby Bones announced that he created "The Bobby Bones Don't Be Skipping Class" scholarship for students at his former high school in Arkansas. He announced the scholarship program during that year's Joy Week celebration.

Each year, Bones awards a Mountain Pine High School senior who "exhibits strong leadership skills, strong work ethic, and a desire to spread kindness to others." He chooses from a list of qualified applicants at the end of each school year. Typically, he presents the scholarship in-person at graduation.

However, due to COVID-19 making things different this year, Bones brought the three individuals he was panning to choose from onto The Bobby Bones Show today (May 28) to announce the winner.

Hayden Barnes, Jamie Walsh, and Brianna Love were all brought on air and Bones asked them to pitch themselves to him in 15 seconds. After that, he would choose a winner.

But Bones couldn't pick just one of them, so instead he awarded all three of them with a "Don't Be Skipping Class" scholarship.
