JAPANESE BEETLE ARRIVE IN DROVES - HOW TO HANDLE

Japanese Beetle

The Japanese Beetle has returned to the Midwest this summer to eat your plants.

The pest is difficult to battle. However, there are a few solutions you can try.

According to the Nebraska Extension office, you need to understand the pest before you can control it.

Whatever you do, you should NOT use the traps you find in big box stores. They tend to attract far too many beetles than the trap can handle. You will then have thousands of beetles feasting on your lawn and plants.
