Former Omaha Lancer Ryan Donato scored a goal in his first game in the National Hockey League.
Donato played a few games for the Omaha Lancers in the 2014-2015 season before heading to play hockey at Harvard University, where his father Ted is the head coach.
After competing with the Men's U.S. Olympic Ice Hockey Team, Donato signed an entry level contract with the Boston Bruins of the NHL. He signed the contract on Sunday and was on the ice with team on Monday.
