Scientists are using DNA samples from Loch Ness to prove (or disprove) the existence of the Loch Ness Monster.
Sonar studies, 24-hour video cameras and other strategies have been used unsuccessfully in the past to find the legendary monster.
Animals leave behind microscopic DNA samples as they swim. Researches will test water samples from various parts of the lake to see if they can find unidentified species in those samples.
