CRAZY FAKE DIVES AND INJURIES IN WORLD CUP 2018

The dives and fake falls in soccer, and specifically in the 2018 World Cup, are getting crazy.

I don't understand why diving (or flopping or whatever the governing body calls it) isn't called more.

Diving is defined as an attempt by a player to gain an unfair advantage by falling to the ground and possibly feigning an injury, to give the impression that a foul has been committed.

Some of the flops in this video are outrageous. The opponent doesn't even come close to making contact with the diving player.

One guy in this video grabs his opponents hand and slams it into his own face to make it appear that his opponent has struck him. Then, the "injured" players flops to the ground and rolls around like a sniper just shot him.

Check out the video for yourself.
