A long-lost Mustang Shelby GT500 prototype vehicle was recently discovered in a Texas field.
The 1967 GT500 EXP prototype was nicknamed “Little Red” due to the car's color. It was a vehicle the manufacturer used to test and develop Mustang parts. This was the only ’67 GT500 notchback coupe ever built by Shelby.
When the cars usefulness was over, most thought it has been sent to a car crusher. It turns out the car was actually sold as used.
After tracing the vehicle identification number, the car was found in a field in Texas.
