Being stubborn could help you live longer. That is according to a new study published in the journal International Psychogeriatrics.
The study found that the oldest residents of Italy share a few common traits. Those include optimism, love for their country, love for their family, a willingness to work hard and stubbornness.
After looking at participants over 90-years-old and their family members, the researchers discovered the elder residents “had worse physical health but better mental well-being than their younger family members.” The study explores the common traits such as providing a common purpose in life.
