The St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup Wednesday night by defeating the Boston Bruins in Game 7 of the 2019 NHL Finals.
The game was played in Boston. However, St. Louis fans gathered in the empty Enterprise Arena in St. Louis to watch the game on the big screens.
The celebration at the final buzzer was electric.
Not only were fans gathered inside the arena, the St. Louis Cardinals baseball organization held a watch party in Busch Stadium a few blocks away.
Thousands of fans sat through a thunderstorm watching their Blues win the Stanley Cup.
The NHL watch party out on the streets was set up for 50,000 people. The crowd easily topped capacity.
