I had the pleasure of interviewing Chris Young before his show at the Stir Cove on June 29th.
Chris told me how he cold called Vince Gill to get him to work on "Sober Saturday Night".
We talked about his forthcoming album and latest top 10 single "Raised On Country".
While recently performing a new song called "Drowning", Chris got choked up on stage at the Grand Ole Opry.
He wrote the new song with Corey Crowder and Josh Hoge. The song is about Chris' friend Adam, who was killed in a car accident.
During our interview, Chris told me what the song means to him and how it came about.
