Today, I thought I would share a few amazing country songs that you may have missed.
These are songs that are either new, never got released as a single or just got overlooked in the mix of things.
This first is by Sam Hunt. This is a new one from him. Such powerful lyrics.
This one is by Ashley McBryde. It is another new tune.
You will find this on her new album "Never Will".
She is such a fantastic artist. Love her.
The record label has teased that this would be a single by Brandon Lay.
There is still a chance. It is such a great song.
Tunes like this make me think of old school Mellencamp.
Brandon is such a good guy. I hope the business is good to him. He is great.
The Ashley McBryde tune above reminded me of this one by Brandy Clark.
I originally saw this song performed by Kristy Lee Cook of American Idol Fame.
When Kristy came to town to perform for us with Scotty McCreery, she did this one as part of her set.
Brandy wrote it. The song has so much attitude when she sings it.
This one was actually a single. Eric Paslay wrote it and released it in October 2014.
The song got into the Top 15 on the U.S. charts, but didn't stick around long.
It is such a great tune, and deserves more attention that it received. Eric is an amazing song writer.
