Dick Boyd was the only actor to play the part of Ebeneezer Scrooge in the annual production of a Christmas Carol at the Omaha Community Playhouse from the show's debut in 1976 until his retirement in 2005.
On Tuesday, we were deeply saddened to learn of Boyd's death at the age of 98.
