COVID-19: PRACTICAL WAYS TO STAY HEALTHY

As kids prepare to go back to school and we begin getting out in public more, we need to continue to practice all the things we've been taught to stay safe and healthy.

Whether we are trying to avoid COVID-19, the flu or simply the common cold, there are a few practical things we can do to stay well.

Be sure you are washing your hands often. Many people get concerned that hand sanitizer is more difficult to find and buy. The old "hand washing" stand-by is still available in most every restroom or kitchen sink. Get at it.

Clean surfaces, such as your counter top, desk, remote control, computer keyboard and other things you touch often.

Also, don't hang around large groups of people if you can help it. At school, don't touch your friends and eat lunch somewhere else.

These steps can help you stay safe and protect you from all sort of disease.
